The most expensive residential real estate in the second quarter of this year was in the Belgrade Waterfront complex, where an apartment was sold for 9,721 euro per square metre.
According to the State Geodetic Authority, which compiled a real estate report for the second quarter of 2021, the cheapest apartment in Belgrade Waterfront is sold for 2,598 euro per square metre.
The second most expensive apartment in Belgrade was sold in Novi Beograd, at the price of 4,733 euro per square metre.
The total turnover made on the real estate market in the second quarter of 2021 amounted to close to 1.6 billion euro, which is twice as much compared to the same quarter of the previous year, or 1.6 times compared to the second quarter of 2019.
Most of the turnover was made from the sale of apartments – 57 percent, followed by residential buildings – 10 percent, construction land – eight percent, business premises – five percent and agricultural land – three percent.
