Frank Atler, director and executive member of the board of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce – AHK Serbia, said that one more German company, which produces automotive components, will open a factory in Čačak in June.
The information was made known after the meeting that representatives of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce and local officials of the city of Čačak.
“It is extremely important that German investors settle well in Serbia and in Čačak too. This is a result of the fact that the Serbian government has decided to build a stronger infrastructure here – we had the opportunity to see the new construction projects for ourselves when arriving in Čačak from Belgrade on the Miloš Veliki motorway. The German companies with production plants in Čačak all come from the automotive industry. The company Vorwerk has been operating in Čačak for a long time, but come June, another company from Germany will arrive in the town and start producing car parts,” said Mr Alter.
