Another 4 people have died and 102 people, out of 5,274 newly tested in the last 24 hours, are have tested positive to the coronavirus.
A total of 193 citizens have died so far in Serbia from the coronavirus, with 9,464 infected, said Goran Stevanovic, director of the Infectious Clinic in Belgrade, yesterday at the crisis staff press conference.
Stevanovic also said that the latest indicators were good.

So far, 1,551 people have been cured and 101,911 people tested. Currently, 2,116 patients are hospitalized, of which 54 are on respirators. The coronavirus mortality rate in Serbia is 2.04%.
Stevanovic also said that the decrease in the number of infected people is a direct consequence of the effectiveness of the measures, but also of the citizens exercising discipline.
He added that if the numbers continue to be as good as they were, the restrictive measures could be completely abolished in a week or two.
Furthermore, it was announced that there would be no more daily press conferences of the government’s crisis unit starting tomorrow, and that the data would be published daily on the covid19.rs website.
Restrictive measures are beginning to be mitigated worldwide. So far, at least 3.5 million people have been infected, with over 245,000 deaths due to the virus.
At yesterday’s press conference, Ivana Milosevic, an infected woman, urged citizens to “scrupulously respect the recommendations on contact with other people, as this is the only way to keep the situation under control”.
When it comes to travelling abroad or returning to Serbia, that is still a process that has to be strictly defined.
