Amira Medunjanin announces Belgrade concert

The renowned singer Amira Medunjanin will have a major concert in Belgrade on 4 December at the Sava Centre.

A superb interpreter of sevdalinka and traditional music from the former Yugoslav region, she is thus continuing her tradition of performing – typically to a packed hall – towards the end of the year, organisers have announced.

According to them, interest at the end of 2025 was so high that Medunjanin performed twice to full houses at the Sava Centre, in front of an exhilarated audience spanning all generations.

Her fans can once again expect a representative selection of material from her eight studio albums. The focus will be on traditional songs, but original compositions will certainly not be absent either—particularly those from her still-current album Homeland (2024). In addition, a regular highlight of her concerts is interpretations of famous pop-rock hits from the former Yugoslavia – sometimes in full, sometimes in fragments – especially towards the finale, when spontaneity takes over both on stage and in the audience and inhibitions fall away, as stated by the organiser Long Play.

Tickets will go on sale tomorrow.
