Alitalia’s special Belgrade-Rome flight on 26 March

We would like to inform Italian citizens about the message posted on the website of the Italian Embassy in Belgrade.

Following the agreement between the Farnesina Crisis Unit and the Italian Embassy, Alitalia will have a special flight for Italian citizens who, due to the current coronavirus crisis, have found themselves stranded in Serbia and wish to return to Italy.

The plane will leave on March 26th at 16:50h from Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade and will land at Rome Fiumicino.

Tickets can be purchased on the Alitalia website (www.alitalia.com) and at authorized travel agencies.

Please note that, in order to counteract the COVID-19 contagion, all natural persons entering Italy are obliged to immediately notify their local Health Authority’s Prevention Department (Dipartimento di prevenzione dell’Azienda Sanitaria) about their arrival, and will be subjected to the Department’s control. They are also obligated to self-isolate for a period of fourteen days, with the exception of those people who are transiting or staying in Italy for work-related reasons for a period of no more than 72 hours, unless there is a justified extension of their stay for additional 48 hours.

The ticket costs 110 euro.
