Considering that Serbia has been gripped by snowfall and very cold weather in the last few days, as well as the reduced capacity of the aircraft de-icing service at the Belgrade airport, Air Serbia has warned passengers that there could be difficulties in maintaining a regular traffic schedule at the airport and that the traffic might slow down in the coming days.
As a result, there may be certain changes in the departure times of some Air Serbia flights from Belgrade, as well as subsequent changes in the departure times of certain return flights to Belgrade. Due to the holiday period, the number of flights is higher than the average for this time of year, which causes additional problems.
“In cooperation with the services of the Belgrade Airport, Air Serbia will undertake everything in its power to ensure that the operations, even in difficult conditions, take place with as few disruptions from the planned flight schedule as possible. Air Serbia regrets any inconvenience and would like to thank passengers for their understanding. The Serbian national airline will provide refreshments to the passengers on flights whose departure time has been postponed by more than two hours and all those passengers who have lost their connections will be redirected to alternative flights,” Air Serbia says in its press release.
