The Serbian national airline Air Serbia plans to launch over 800 charter flights to many popular holiday destinations in Turkey, Egypt, Greece and Tunisia during the upcoming summer season, in cooperation with domestic travel agencies.
Air Serbia will open the summer charter season during the Easter and May Day holidays, with flights to popular Egyptian destinations, Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh, the press release reads.
When it comes to Turkey, Air Serbia will have charter flights mainly to the Antalya region, but flights to Bodrum and Dalaman on the Aegean coast are also planned.
Regarding Greece, travellers can expect direct charters to Rhodes, Crete, Skiathos, Corfu, Kefalonia, Zakynthos and other popular destinations.
“We are confident that this season will be better than the previous one because, unlike last year, we will fly to holiday destinations that are available for our tourists, such as Greece,” said Bosko Rupic from Air Serbia says.
During the 2020 summer charter season, in the period from 5 July to the end of October, Air Serbia had 299 round-flights to Turkey, Egypt and Greece.
The Turkish coast was the most popular destination with 189 flights, followed by Egypt with 108, while only 2 flights were made to Greece, due to the travel restrictions.
