Air Serbia has started to fly to Rome again, with the first departure taking place on 30th April, the Serbian national airline has announced.
Air Serbia also says that flights between the Serbian and the Italian capital will be twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays.
The Serbian national airline will also re-establish a regular flight to Milan on 28 May, with the first plane departing at 18:15h. After that, passengers will be able to fly to Milan also twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays.
It is expected that from 13 June the third weekly flight to both destinations in Italy will be launched and that it will be on Sunday.
Air Serbia suspended direct flights between Belgrade and destinations in Italy in March 2020 due to the pandemic. Flights had resumed in July of the same year, but almost immediately stopped due to the worsening epidemiological situation in Europe.
