Air Serbia was ranked third in the list of the 10 best regional airlines in Europe, chosen by the specialised British website, Skytrax, which is a jump of three places compared to last year’s ranking.
In the annual selection of the best airlines in the world (World Airline Awards), carried out by Skytrax on the basis of surveying passenger experience, Air Serbia is ranked third, right behind the Greek flag carrier, Aegean Airlines and Air Malta.
In the category of the best Eastern European airlines, Air Serbia took third place again, an improvement over last year’s fifth place. This year, the top positions were occupied by Air Baltik and Poland’s LOT. Air Serbia is third, followed by Wizz Air, Czech Airlines, Croatia Airlines, and Romania’s Tarom.
This year’s ranking is based on a survey conducted from September 2021 to August 2022 in more than 100 countries and with the participation of more than 14 million respondents.
Qatar Airways’ was declared the world’s best airline for 2022. Skytrax has been awarding the world’s best airlines since 1999, when it first launched an annual global survey on passenger satisfaction.
