Agrokor: Ramljak meets with Serbian ministers

At the meeting with Serbian ministers on 17th May, Agrokor’s trustee Ante Ramljak underlined that steps were being taken toward the normalization of Agrokor subsidiary business throughout the region.

He also stressed that suppliers in Serbia could still expect regular payment for the goods delivered, reads a press release issued after the meeting.

Ramljak spoke to Serbian ministers about the plans and dynamics of restructuring the concern, with a particular review of companies in the Agrokor system operating in Serbia.

He spoke with Serbian Trade Minister, Rasim Ljajic, Agriculture Minister, Branislav Nedimovic, and the president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Marko Cadez.

The meeting was also attended by the Croatian Ambassador to Serbia, Gordan Markotic, director of Mercator S, Aleksandar Seratlic, director of Dijamant cooking oil factory, Vladimir Milovic, and director of Frikom, Gojko Djosic.

Headquartered in Zagreb, the Croatian company has  more than 60 firms in the region under its umbrella, employing around 60,000 people. In Serbia, it owns Mercator S, Dijamant, Frikom, MG Mivela, Kikindski Mlin and Nova Sloga.
