Climbing, hiking, mountain biking, cycling and yoga are some of the activities to be enjoyed by the fans of adventure and active holidays in South Serbia. The first ever Adventure Outdoor Festival in Serbia will be held in the special nature reserve Jerma (near the town of Dimitrovgrad) from 16th to 20th August.
At the festival, the visitors will be able to enjoy in outstanding natural beauty of the area around the Jerma River, and in the nature outside to the towns of Pirot, Dimitrovgrad and Babusnica.
The festival organizers say that this is an ideal opportunity for an active holiday near one of the cleanest rivers in our country. Adventurists from all over Serbia and the region are expected to come.
“We are also preparing various activities for children who, apart from creative workshops and games, will be able to try archery, abseiling, climbing or hiking to forest lookouts. This is the ideal holiday for families and adventurists alike”, the festival organizers say.
Experienced coaches, instructors and guides will lead all of the activities, while the equipment used is officially tested for safety.
“We would also like to recommend the climbing festival, extreme abseiling, mountain and night running with skyrunner Nevena Rankovic, cycling and exploring the Vetrena Dupka cave. Then there are yoga workshops, slackline and outdoor cinema where we going to screen travel and adventure movies”, the organizers add.
