A unique musical experience Blind Symphony coming to Novi Sad

Following significant success on stages across Europe and the United States, the international project -Blind Symphony – is coming to Serbia for the first time, in Novi Sad, to be exact, on 29th May.

This distinctive concert format offers audiences the opportunity to experience music without any visual distractions, in an environment of complete darkness that fundamentally transforms the perception of art.

The concept of the event involves each visitor receiving a special eye mask before the concert begins, while the Synagogue venue is immersed in absolute darkness. By eliminating the sense of sight, attention shifts entirely to the subtlest sonic nuances, delicate vibrations, and inner rhythms. In these conditions, even well-known works of classical and contemporary music take on a new, deeper dimension.

A chamber ensemble, using more than 70 different instruments and tonal colours drawn from various world cultures, will present a carefully curated repertoire. Visitors will have the opportunity to hear compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach, Arvo Pärt, Philip Glass, Max Richter, and Ludovico Einaudi.

Blind Symphony is not merely a series of performances, but an invitation to an intimate exploration of sound, where music becomes the only reality.
