Serbian companies GPTS (Green Power Turbine Systems) and EDePro have publicly unveiled the Goshawk cruise missile system for the first time at the World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as reported by international defence and arms industry specialist portals.
Goshawk is the first domestically developed long-range cruise missile project to be publicly presented abroad. The system is designed as an autonomous loitering munition with a range of up to 150 kilometres, a cruising flight profile, autonomous navigation and a warhead tailored for precision strikes against high-value targets.
The premiere of Goshawk marks an expansion of the portfolio of Serbian defence companies, which are now developing missiles and munitions for long-range precision ground strikes, with clear export potential to Gulf countries and beyond.
Goshawk has been developed through a partnership between GPTS and EDePro, under which the former contributes propulsion system technologies, while EDePro provides expertise in guidance and missile technologies.
The name Goshawk should not be confused with the American trainer aircraft McDonnell Douglas T-45 Goshawk, the British Project GOSHAWK, or other systems bearing the same name.
