The outgoing mayor of Merošina, Saša Jovanović, and the representatives of the Chinese company CCSC, Chi Chiu, Lok Chiu, Bright Tian and KK Chan, have agreed to sign a memorandum on cooperation and opening of a factory in Merošina in early 2024.
The factory in Merošina will produce cable connectors.
“The factory will employ 200 people, which will kickstart employment in the municipality. The signing of the memorandum is scheduled for January 2024, whereas the factory is supposed to become operational in the second quarter of 2025,” the outgoing mayor said.
CCSC-Interconnect Technology Limited is a corporation that was founded in 1993 and it produces connectors, complex cables and wirings for the industrial application of electrical energy, and is also engaged in green energy, agriculture, recycling, healthcare, automotive industry and data transfer.
