70M Euro Investment for the Hilton Hotel in Belgrade

The Hilton Hotel in Belgrade will open in 2018 between Kralja Milana and Kralja Milutina, just a few steps away from Slavija Square.

The hotel will occupy an area that is 38,418 m2 and will have 250 rooms and suites distributed across eight floors. It will also have restaurants and a panoramic terrace.

The estimated value of the investment is approximately 70 million Euro, which will be used to build a structure that will employ 300 people. Yesterday, Hilton Worldwide announced that it wants to sign an agreement with the Serbian company Belaga Management Company Doo (which is 100% controlled with 100 dinars of equity by Belaga Property Invest S.A., which has headquarters in the British Virgin Islands). The company’s representative, Dragan Lazarevic, stated that “We are honored to start this collaboration with Hilton and to provide Belgrade with an international five-star hotel after three decades of work modernizing the city.”

The mayor of Belgrade, Sinisa Mali, declared that the construction of the Hilton hotel is a recognition of the efforts to attract investors to Belgrade and Serbia and will speed up the development of the capital’s tourism industry. Mali noted that the number of tourists that visited Belgrade increased by 11% last year and by 13% in the first two months of this year with respect to the same period in 2015.
