67th Documentary and Short Film Festival in Belgrade from 25 to 29 March

The 67th Documentary and Short Film Festival called “Martovski Festival” will be held from 25 to 29 March 2020 at Belgrade’s Dom Omladine, which also organizes the event.

One of the oldest film festivals in Europe and the world will last for 5 days this year and will present to the audience an abundant selection of films from different categories – documentary films up to and over 50 minutes long, experimental films and video art, animated films and short films.

There will also be many special screenings, programmes, expert forums, meetings and interviews with Festival guests, masterclasses and other accompanying activities.

Dejan Dabic, a long-time film editor at the Cultural Centre of Nis, screenwriter, director and publicist, is the new artistic director of the Festival.

The films that will participate in this year’s competition programme will be chosen by a jury composed of Milan Nikodijevic, director, screenwriter and producer; Vladimir Sojat, film and television publisher, author and video artist; Nikola Majdak, director of photography, animator and film director, Dejan Dabic, artistic director of the Festival and Dragan Nikolic, director of Dom Omladine’s film programme.

The films selected again this year will compete for the Grand Prix in the individual categories and there will also be prizes for the best director, camera, editing and sound design.
