The Ministry of Economy has invited small business owners, micro and small enterprises to obtain information about the 2018 Programme for Stimulation of Entrepreneurship through Investment Support, which is being implemented in cooperation with the Development Fund of the Republic of Serbia.
According to the Programme’s terms and conditions, small businesses are entitled to the financial support / grant in the amount of up to 20% of the value of their investment.
The remaining 80% will be financed from a Development Fund loan, with an interest rate of 1.5 percent annually, providing there is a bank guarantee, or 3 percent annually, for other collateral. The payment period for this loan is up to ten years for legal entities, and up to eight years for small business owners. In both cases, there is a one-year grace period.
The money received via this programme can be used for a wide variety of purposes, from the purchase of equipment and machinery to the adaptation, construction or purchase of production or business facilities.
The public call for allocation of grants is open until all available funds are spent, but no later than 31st December, 2018.
