The 40th Architecture Salon will take place from 29th March to 5th May at Belgrade’s Museum of Applied Arts under the slogan “Fields of the Future”. The Salon will be officially opened on Thursday, at 7pm.
The Architecture Salon is designated as a place and event for articulating opinions on architecture and architectural culture with a clear tendency to give affirmative and active critique of the current state, the press release reads. It is also the most important and the most popular architectural event in Serbia.
The Students Programme is already represented by the traditional “Pre-Salon” event with a series of workshops organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade and the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Nis that will take place until 8th April. The Salon will also feature an exhibition called “The Baroque Belgrade” that will showcase the way Belgrade looked in the period from 1717 to 1739.
