Next Sunday, Belgrade will once again host the biggest sporting and competitive event in the country- the 35th Belgrade Marathon.
The start of the marathon is scheduled for eight o’clock and the best Serbian athlete Olivera Jevtić, a five-time Olympian and four-time winner of the Belgrade Marathon, will be this year’s marathon ambassador.
“The event that we all celebrate as a festival of sports, friendship and socializing on the streets of Belgrade will bring together more than 6,500 runners from all over Serbia, the region and the world,” the Marathon organizers have said, adding that there will be two races – 21km and 42km.
The race is open for people of all ages and categories, but also families who will run or walk on a two and a half kilometre long track.
