The music duo, 2 CELLOS, comprised of Stjepan Hauser and Luka Šulić, is going to have a concert in Belgrade, as a part of their SCORE Tour. This time, the concert will be outdoors, on Kalemegdan, on September 8th.
“We look forward to coming back to Belgrade. We love Belgrade very much, and we started this tour in Belgrade with a phenomenal concert in the Arena. The audience here is fantastic. The outdoor concert is a special experience, but also a bigger challenge. Kalemegdan is beautiful, so please come so we can enjoy the music together”, Luka says.

“We are finishing the new album, and we are returning to our roots, with our classical take on pop and rock hits. We’ve already remade our first song “Eye of the Tiger”, and we hope you like it. We have already prepared a repertoire for Belgrade. We’ll start slowly, with movie soundtracks and then we will move onto a more energetic part. We’ll be crazy, we promise”, adds Stjepan.
The duo said that they chose songs that could be arranged as covers playable on just two cellos. In anticipation of the release, 2Cellos released their second single “Welcome to the Jungle,” a cover of the Guns N’ Roses song of the same name.
Elton John asked the duo to appear with him on his 2011 summer tour, which began in Cardiff, Wales. John, who personally called Šulić, said that he had watched the “Smooth Criminal” video and wanted 2Cellos to participate in his thirty-city tour.
The tickets for the Belgrade concert can be bought at Eventim outlets.
