The state authorities have launched a public invitation for the submission of bids for financing the installation of sixteen so-called “green stations” on motorways in our country.
The plan is to install at least 80 and at most 320 chargers for electric cars, with at least two charging slots on each charger and with a minimum power of 150kW per charger, stated the Minister of Transport, Construction and Infrastructure, Goran Vesic.
“We are responding to the need to install a higher number of electric chargers on state roads and to the requests for the better development of the existing rest stops, i.e. to clean them and ensure more amenities at them”, Vesić said, adding that Serbia currently has a hundred chargers for electric cars on Serbian roads.
The estimated value of the contract for the installation of green stations is 768 million dinars and the deadline for submission of bids is November 21st.
