11th Shakespeare Festival starts soon

The 11th Shakespeare Festival will be held at Villa Stanković in Čortanovci, near Novi Sad, from 4th to 7th July.

The Shakespeare Festival will offer the audience a rich repertoire, which has been the hallmark of the festival since its inception in 2014, which  includes the plays “Twelfth Night,” “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” “Romeo and Juliet: The Last Hours,” and “Hamlet Double Bill.”

It is important to note that in case of adverse weather conditions, the festival’s opening performance will be held at the Youth Theatre in Novi Sad, and the remaining three performances at the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad.

Organized transportation is provided from Belgrade and Novi Sad.

The round-trip ticket prices are:

  • 400 dinars for the route Novi Sad – Villa Stanković – Novi Sad
  • 500 dinars for the route Belgrade – Villa Stanković – Belgrade

Tickets are sold online at the website tickets.rs, as well as at all authorized sales points in Serbia. The number of seats is limited.


  • Departure: St. Mark’s Church, in front of the AirSerbia terminal (17, Kralj Aleksandar Boulevard) at 6:00 PM
  • Return: Villa Stanković parking lot 20 minutes after the end of the performance


  • Departure: Railway station, near the Locomotive at 7:00 PM
  • Return: Villa Stanković parking lot 20 minutes after the end of the performance
