10% more new cars sold in Serbia in 2019 – Skoda tops the list

Last year, new car sales in Serbia increased by 10% compared to 2018, the Vecernje Novosti daily writes.

Although 2018 was a good year for car dealerships with 30,731 new vehicles sold, 2019 was even better with a total of 31,601 cars sold.

Skoda sold the biggest number of vehicles, both passenger and light commercial, in Serbia – a total of 5,347. The second place went to Fiat with 5,133 vehicles sold while Renault’s third with 2,020 vehicles sold.

Despite the fact that the data on the number of sold vehicles covers the period of the first eleven months of 2019, the current order of best-selling vehicles is not expected to change when the December sale numbers come in.
